Privacy Policy

This Data Processing & Privacy Policy ("Policy") explains how Zyve, LLC ("Zyve") collects, uses, and protects resume and candidate-related data provided by users of our platform. By using Zyve’s services or uploading data into our system, you agree to the terms set forth in this Policy. This Policy is incorporated by reference into Zyve’s Terms of Service. 


1. PURPOSE 
Zyve provides an AI-powered recruitment platform through which users upload resumes for the purpose of identifying business development opportunities. This Policy outlines how we process and protect that data. 


2. DATA USE 
2.1 Resume Data. Resume data includes any candidate information uploaded into the Zyve platform. 
2.2 Purpose of Use. Zyve processes uploaded resumes to: 
- Analyze employer history and patterns 
- Generate insights into competitor employers 
- Assist users in creating business development strategies 
2.3 AI Processing. Zyve may utilize trusted third-party tools to assist with parsing and analyzing resume content. 
2.4 No Resale or Sharing. Zyve does not share, sell, or disclose resume data to third parties for marketing or independent analysis. 
2.5 Email Authentication & Access. If users connect an external email service (e.g., Microsoft Outlook or Gmail) to the Zyve platform, Zyve accesses only basic authentication information (such as email address and profile ID) necessary to verify the user's identity. Zyve enables users to create and send outbound emails through their connected email accounts using the Zyve platform. Zyve does not access, read, or store the user's inbox, sent mail, or any other mailbox content except for email communications actively generated and sent through the platform by the user.
2.6 Use of Google Authentication. If users authenticate using Google sign-in, Zyve accesses only the user's basic authentication information (email address and profile ID) to enable secure access to the platform. Zyve does not access, read, or store Gmail inboxes, sent emails, or any other Workspace data beyond outbound emails composed and sent via the Zyve platform. Zyve does not use any Google user data to develop, improve, or train generalized AI or machine learning models.


3. SECURITY MEASURES 
3.1 Zyve uses industry-standard security protocols, including: 
- Encryption at rest and in transit 
- Account-based access controls 
- Data isolation per user account 
3.2 Only authorized users and internal systems may access uploaded data. 
3.3 Subprocessors. Zyve may engage third-party service providers to support platform functionality. All such providers operate under strict confidentiality and data handling requirements. 


4. DATA RETENTION & DELETION 
4.1 Zyve retains resume data only while a user account is active. 
4.2 Upon request or account cancellation, Zyve will delete resume data from its systems within 30 days. 


5. CONFIDENTIALITY 
Zyve treats all uploaded data as confidential. We will not disclose user data unless legally required or with explicit consent. 


6. USER OBLIGATIONS 
Users must have lawful authority to upload resumes into Zyve and confirm that all required consents have been obtained from any individuals whose information is submitted. 


7. BREACH NOTIFICATION 
In the event of unauthorized access or misuse, Zyve will notify impacted users promptly and provide all reasonable information available. 


8. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY 
This Policy does not expand Zyve’s liability beyond that defined in our Terms of Service. 


9. GOVERNING LAW 
This Policy is governed by the laws of the State of Delaware.

 
10. ACCEPTANCE & CONSENT 
By using Zyve’s services, uploading resumes, or accessing any functionality of the platform, you acknowledge and agree to this Data Processing & Privacy Policy. 
If you do not agree to this Policy, you must discontinue use of the platform.
